SOHA Restoration Center · Jambo, Karatina

A place to heal, grow and begin again

Growing up is not only about grades. The Restoration Center gives young people the space, people and practical tools to heal, find their purpose and move forward, across every part of their lives.

Why the Center exists

Some things can't be fixed in a classroom

Young people carry difficulties that affect their confidence, relationships, decisions and sense of purpose. Mentorship in schools reaches a lot, but some need more: time, a safe place and people who will walk with them.

The Restoration Center is SOHA's answer. It is where our mentorship and leadership work meets the emotional, mental, spiritual, social and physical sides of growing up. It is also our biggest goal: a lasting home for youth restoration in Karatina and beyond.

What the Center sets out to do

  • Equip young people with practical tools for personal growth and healing
  • Encourage self-awareness and a clearer understanding of personal challenges
  • Promote resilience and positive approaches to life transitions
  • Support healthy relationships and constructive social behaviour
  • Encourage purpose discovery and responsible decision-making
  • Complement mentorship and leadership development with whole-person well-being

Our approach
